EIHR 2011 Roundtable

In October 2011, CIHR hosted the first meeting of the Evidence Informed Healthcare Renewal (EIHR) Roundtable.

The overall objectives of the EIHR Roundtable are to:

  • convene organizations involved in healthcare renewal to exchange on their research and knowledge development agendas;
  • provide an opportunity for governments to learn about and reflect on the research and knowledge development agendas and evidence needs/gaps;
  • provide an opportunity to identify potential synergies and opportunities for collaboration; and
  • work together to ensure the collective outputs of our organizations' work are available and accessible to the public and health system leaders through a public knowledge platform.

One initiative arising from the Roundtable is the creation of the EIHR Portal
